I might be wrong but w.e. it should help anyway, I noticed that gta wouldnt work when it tried to load a game. GTA would just lock up on the loading screen and crash. So I deleted my game saves and VOILA! it worked. So if that is your trouble then try that, and note that when you save while playing through the game loader game saves work fine.

P.S. This may only apply to people who have previously played GTA on 2.0 and above firmwares. If this doesn't help try finding another iso or if you actually have the game, re-rip it.

Mine just freezes after it goes thru all the intro movies, any help 4 tht?

And i bought mine at 1.5 so i dont know whats going on.

I played gta on 2.5 then i got a 2.00 and completed gta and downgraded. My problem is that i cant load my 100% save. Is this a known problem or is it just me?

Well for your problem Kylenic, mine was doing the same. Sadly, I couldn't use my original game save. I traded my 2.01 for a 1.5. So to tell you the truth I don't think you'll ever get that to work with your 100% save, because thats what my problem was. So most likely its your game save thats not letting you play. To Demolition, it could be any of the following: You need to re-rip the game or find another ISO; get different flash0,flash1 folders because it may not have seperated the files right; the prx files aren't renamed right or didn't decrypt right; or UMD Gen is messing up when writing the ISO.

Edit:If anyone is fluent in French you might ask MPH why it is doing this with the game saves, or maybe fanjita could help.

I re-ripped and now gta works... omg it was the most annoying thing in the world.

It ended up being 40kb more than the iso that made it work.

U should try re-ripping the umd .. SEVERAL TIMES... YES .... when i mean SEVERAL i mean SEVERAL... as in tons .... lol its worth it....

and when u decrypt the files make sure u pop out the battery and then reboot ur psp WITHOUT the card in b coz i found it corrupts/messes up the decrypted prx files.

Good luck u will need to rip a good few times and i wouldnt use fastloader if u have less than 2gb... the best for split dumping which kernel32 gave to me was New UMD Dumper v0.2... PM if u cant find it.

Yes, if you read kernals tut, it tells you exactly how to load the game you go to UMD EMULATOR FIRST THEN THE GAMELOADER,make sure where it says how you want to load it in the UMD Emulator (set that to system menu), I also found that you have to have a real UMD game (set discart type UMD to GAME) in for it to work perfectly so that it will show up under the game menu (where you load all hombrew from on the psp menu), then go to the gameloader and load the game.
