I MAY know what's wrong. Try plugging the charger into a different outlet OR turning some switches on. There may be switch-activated outlets in your room. If that don't help, buy a new charger, because that sounds like the problem. And I didn't even know they had USB chargers!

he said he tried 3 chargers and no go, so i doubt its that, prolly farked psp somehow

boy i hope it doesnt happen to mine, they'd prolly send back a 2.6

yeh its damm annoying
i called sony Aus and asked them whats the deal and the chick said that they didnt have the equipment to fix overseas models what a load of crap
and she said once they get the stuff in it wont be under warranty ne more and it would cost $300 to fix
i dont no whats shes been smokin but i want some of it
all i got off her was a email address "support@scei.co.jp" which is apparntly the service dept in japan so hopefully they get back to me quickly with the info i need

welll i had enough trying to fix this psp
so i just bought a new white 1.5 off ebay from a AUSSIE seller so i wont have any problems now
what to do with my dead 2.01 now
should i take it apart and sell the peices or does some one here want to give me a good price
i wouldnt be sellin it as a bricked psp coz its not bricked some one who knows what there doin would be able to get it working
