| | | | Thinking of updgrading to 2.6
And heres what I need to know...
What of these programs will stop working under a 2.6 environment? (I am perfectly willing to et a copy of GTA to get things wokring)
UMD Emulator 8.0c (VITAL)
SNES9x (not as much)
I want to update cuz I bought Generation of Chaos and it requires 2.6 firmware, and I have no clue if theres a way around, or one in development or what..
Right now i'm on firmware 1.5. So yea, any help would be greatly appreciated, even if its to wait for a crack (if they even exist) |

DONT UPDATE... you would be a fool to.
EDIT: If you dont know much about homebrew i suggest you look in to it... but DO NOT upgrade, you asking for a kick in the ass if u do... there are a vast majority of homebrew apps you can use for 1.5 and not 2.6 take a look at www.psp-hacks.com

Points: 84,973,253,490.38 Donate | | Well, if you updated, you'd lose the UMD Emulator. Keep 1.5. I'm not sure if it would work, but try using MPH's new UMD Game Loader 1.1 to run your new 2.6 game. You can find the program ON THIS THREAD |

Points: 0.61 Donate | | | you would be a fool to upgrade. 1.5's are so rare now and many people are coming out with new programs that basically give them the capability to run everything 2.xx has and play 2.xx games.

Points: 10,011.96 Donate | | | Never upgrade ... It aint worthit . . If your game won`t run using MHP`s new loader for 1.5 it might work with the new releases .
Here is the score :
1.50 ... Use MHP`s prog to load 2.xx games (compatibility will be improved)
2.60 ... Forget ISO loading , and Forget downgrading back . Too far off .
