Security of the 2.6 Vs. 2.5

I was wondering, is there any security patches added from FW 2,5 to 2.6? All the documentation I have read says no, including the "what's new in 2.6" thingy from sony. I ONLY want people who know what they are doing to respond to this post (the "hackers"), and can offer proof or logical, and not the people who just flame, throw out thier opinon on no basis, or link to another site (the "n00bers"). Also, what kind of bugs are there in the 2.6 code that have been discovered. I've heard of the multi-player part of SOCOM not working correctly or something like that.

Thanks

Thank you much for the information. I trust Butterball. SO, the final point is that I could upgrade to 2.6 from 2.5, and when a 2.5 downgrader/exploit comes out, I can use it?
