Points: 29.92 Donate | | | nope, sorry dude. If it was that easy, we would have 2.01+ fully hacked by now. Also, when you convert any media (jpg, mpg, mp3 and so on) to another format, the data is compleatly changed and re-writen. In other words, what coding you had in your orriginal pic is now lost.

My Mood:  | | | | | So long no one finds an exploit for the jp(e)g format, no. The tiff exploit was only vulnerable for tiff images, and this exploit was fixed in 2.01. |

Points: 10,011.92 Donate | | | Some hope will be in the new firmware 3.00 when it is released . The new firmware is almost certain to have quite a lot of new features to entice users to upgrade , so we can only hope that there might be a possible exploit through the new features .
Till then , i believe somebody is working on a font exploit . But it won`t be much use unless they are able to run unsigned code from it .

heres an overflow program that someone else made (i forget which forum i got it from) that i later edited to run on 2.71. It takes the last pic that u looked at and puts it as a currupted background image for the eboot background  http://www.filefactory.com/?166a4c
i managed to change it, and make it work on 2.71 using part of LOCOROCO |
