Well basically i want to start to do this stuff, eboots etc... but i have to be the admin of the computer. and my computer upstairs doesn't have internet. can someone please DL the files for me and PM me or post them here. i really need them. PLEASE HELP get the setup http://www.cygwin.com/setup.exe

Points: 3.06 Donate | | | you will almost always need to be admin on the local pc's to do any sort of install, well anything that uses windows installer ....
why not add yerself to the admin group on your local pc, or is it not yer pc ?

Points: 3.06 Donate | | | the way the toolchain is designed it needs to be connected to the internet during the entire install , it uses a component called svn (like ftp) wich downloads what it needs as it goes along ...
well cygwin aswell , the setup file is only a few megs, but once you have chosen what you want to install it then connects to the cygwin site and downloads the packages to install, total process takes about 2/3 hours depending on your connection type.
you could get a mate to copy his install to a dvd, that would be about the only way. ..

Points: 4,922.05 Donate | | | ya i know that is what is messed up. i am not admin here and i dont have internet upstairs. errrggggggggg some DL it and uplaod everything, cygwin, toolchain, sdk overnight. that would help alot.
