Hello all

This is not a fake , first . Well i'm french so please excuse my bad english .
Someone in a forum where i usually go tells us that he found a way to downgrade his psp.

It explains how to downgrade your psp .
If you aren't french , i'm gonna try to traduce .

Heya , my friend explained me how to downgrade his psp !! well if you want to try

You'll need:

-a PSP 2.5 firmware

-2 memory sticks

He told me :

1)First you need to download 2.0 and 2.60 firmware : http://rapidshare.de/files/15320519/...rader.rar.html

2)Then ya need 2 MS
firmware 2.60 In one
firmware 2.00 In the other

3)Go update to 2.60
Until accept the license accord

4)Then You gotta change of MS
(The one which is firmware 2.00)
And you update to 2.00!

5) Then you can downgrade to 1.5^^

Warning: I didn't personnaly tried this cuz my psp is 1.5 Firmware so i'm not responsible of eventual damages of your psp.

But it's gonna waork^^

Well i hoped you understood the most , i personnaly didn't tried cuz my psp is also 1.5 firmware ..

So can you tell me if it works ??

Sorry , it's juste that 2 guys pretend it works . Then we believed them ^^

We also found another idea xD

If we use Sxt changer we can tell the psp it is on 1.50 firmware , then we run a game like Gta and we update to 2.00 . In trust we downgraded

you cannot remove the memstick after starting the upgrade , i t aborts!
if you bypass the switch / check the psp checks the version at 0% 35%
and again before writing the ipl ///

so this will not work..

you cannot use sx changer on version 2.XX as it writes to a file index.dat / version.txt wich are read only on version 2.xx, and sony has put a third check in a partition that we can not even read.. flash2 ?? 1mb

give it a bash, at anytime once the duo looses contact with the psp it fails..

EDIT
going from 2.5 > 2.6
ok so i was feeling brave, at he eula when it asks for you to accept the agreement i poped the stick out
it says " The Update failed. The Memory stick has been removed"

once you click back it goes back to the VSH
