New Possible Tiff Exploit

I was looking around the internet at buffer overflows etc to see what they are and how they work when i came across this

http://www.frsirt.com/exploits/20060..._exploit.c.php

The possible exploit is dated only a week ago. So maybe this exploit exists in newer firmwares. Please dont flame me for posting this. This is just a heads up.

EDIT: Can a mod/admin change the title from "A new possible Tiff" to "New Possible Tiff Exploit" please

The problem is tiff aint even supported in 2.01 and higher any more man...therefore a tiff file is 'corrupted data'. Tiff exploits are dead.

yes they did but i dont think its the newest lib google says the newest version is LibTIFF 3.7.2 the site says its was tested on LibTIFF 3.7.1 i think we can use this because if i remember the PSP Browser's TIFF lib is one version lower than the PSP PHOTO Browser
