What is castaway?

if castaway is a usual homebrew game youll want the 1.0 game for the eloader, if its an iso you cant play it, but i guess its a hb game cause you asking for the fw versions... so just copy the 1.0 files to game directory and boot via eloader ;-)

castaway is the atari st emulator for psp, I downloaded from fanjitas page. It says that it works on firmware 2.01+ with eloader 0.96 but you have to place the emulator on the atari_st folder. I've done that but every time that I try to run it it says that castaway can only be run from atari_st folder!!?

I would really like to know if anyone has got CASTAWAY (Atari ST Emulator) to work on a PSP 2.5 / 2.6?

I have spent alot of time reading posts all over the internet, and I still cannot get this to work!

It appears that you need a folder called ATARI_ST and inside this folder you should copy the eboot.pbp (now here the confusion starts some people are saying you should use the version for 1.0 like normal with firware 2.5, while others state you need to use the 1.5 version! I have tried both and cannot get them to work!) Also in the same folder you need to find and put the tos.rom (the 1.02 UK version is recommended) again there is confusion if this should be named tos.rom or tos.rom. (with extra fullpoint) again I have tried both and cannot get this to work!)

I am at the point where I don't believe this works on firmware 2.5 /2.6 as when it launches my screen also turns blank and then shutdown, but I hope someone can prove me wrong!
