Looks like another new Loader/utility named "DAX ZISO Loader v0.1 BETA For PSP" has been launched. It includes a PC iSO compression utility called DAX Creator v0.1. It will convert your existing PSP iSO format file to a .iso.dax extension file for use with DAX ZISO Loader. Although more common compression formats cannot be used such as RAR/ZIP (closed source/seeking time too slow), typical compression results are as follows: The Exit (JAP) goes from 110MB to 60MB, and Virtual Tennis (EUR) goes from 375MB to 155 MB in size. This looks promising indeed to save precious Memory Stick space...

I wonder if it needs to decompress them as it plays (eg if u need memory free on ur mem card)

Points: 17.07 Donate | | | Okay, so I tried this last night with Virtual Tennis as per the readme file which says it works, but I couldn't get it working. I tried a few others - compresses anywhere between 5% & 35% of the file size but that's no good if they won't load! Anyone have any joy?
