Makin a custom firmware aint that easy the custom f\w that loaded with the mph loader would work because the program knows how to load the modules if you try to modify the firmware and load it back in to the psp you would have to write mass amounts of code so it knows about the new modules and it know the old one aren't thier, the only way to intergrate 2.6 is through a module loader which works in ram not flash.

Remember that the MPHfirmware launcher also loaded the leaked firmware update which bricked psp if run off the ms as an update.

It won't work, many people have tried to flash it, but you have to make the PSP think it is updating and flash everything in the process that the PSP flashes during the update process, if you don't it'll brick, that's why SXT is working on a NAND Flasher!
