1) There is a really poor cut when he/she/it cancels the 2.00 update. It's sad when a person who does not work with videos can tell.
2) The credits referance the PSP3D Admin and Fanjita, both of which said that they want nothing to do with this downgrader unless further proof comes out.
3) As far as I can tell, the PSP starts out as 2.50, then becomes 2.60, but that could be my bad eyes and poor video quality.
4) Why not show the psp downgrading all the way? (See note/edit below)
5) It's not on the homepage of all the major PSP sites.
So, yes, you are right to doubt this.
Note/edit: The only reason to hope is the fact that there are no cuts/edits in the video from the start, through the swap of the memory sticks, and on to the start of the 2.00 update. If this is true, then someone somewhere has made some headway, but not enough for a full downgrader.

Funny how when you switch scenes or focus in on the screen, the MAC address and nickname are clear as day, but the version number comes into focus later...
