| | | A 275$ brick, that seems a little pricey! I have a 1001 PSP, bought in the USA in mid April 2005. I Have never run any homebrews or any other non-official programs. I am currently running 2.6 Firmware. On the night of the 16th, I was playing Syphon Filter (great BTW) and I put the system into sleep mode to answer the phone. When I came back, I couldnt auto target on the game (using the L button). So, I tried to get to the OS screen via the home button. The home button would work, but any button I hit would affect the game running in the background, and I couldnt select the "yes" button on the home screen. So, I turned off the system, removed the game, and reboot the system, once in, I went into the system restore option, and tried restoring, it went to default settings, and reset. When it came back on, I was prompted to input the neccessary info, so I did, but when I got the units name section, and tried to change it, it wouldnt allow me to type. It was like the L button was being held down the whole time. I tried resetting the system several more times, as I type this the battery to the unit is sitting beside it. Any help would be great, be honest, if Im screwed, I can handle it. |

| | | | Yes Well, it just happened about 4 hours ago, I tried clicking the button, holding the button, willing the button to stop clicking, insulting the button, laughing at the button, making the button feel left out by only touching the other buttons, and pretty much everything else that I can do with that damn button. The warranty will be up next month, but Im not too sure how much I want to invest in another PSP considering that I have never done anything that sony hasnt recomended, Im the god damn post child for proper psp use, and it still craps out, WTF! |
