hey everyone! i have successfully swapped the X and O buttons on my EU 2.6!

All i did was:
-Restore System settings (ESSENTIAL!)

-Download the Button Swap Program from "Homer"
link: -Install it onto psp. put button_swap in the root of ms, and put pspbsw in psp/game.

-Download Parser-Dreg2, install.

-From the button_swap program in the root om ms, i took the "sytem2.60_new.dreg" [or whatever your fw is], and the system.ireg from my flash1, using file assistant.

-Place both the IREG and DREG file into the root of the dreg-parser directory, and rename the dreg to system.dreg.

-Run Fixupdreg2.exe, and after a couple of seconds the prompt will exit, leaving you with a fixed DREG.

-Take the DREG ONLY and replace the original from the button_swap dir. on your psp. (called sytem2.60_new.dreg [or whatever your fw is])

-Run pspbuttonswapper, and select your fw using L/R, and press the button for the desired configuration, and PRESTO! it should say "patching Flash complete!"

-Exit to the main menu. it should be in japanese. go to the settings icon, and the system settings button. in there, the second option down will be system language. Go from there.

PLEASE NOTE:
-IF YOU GET A BLUE SCREEN, THE DREG WAS NOT FIXED PROPERLY.
-FROM THE JAPANESE MAIN MENU, REMEMBER YOUR NEW CONFIRM BUTTON IS WHATEVER YOU SELECTED.
-THIS CANNOT BRICK YOUR PSP.
