Mine did that a couple of days ago. I switched my PSP on and the parental lock didn't come up, it loaded the game (gta) straight away. I pressed home and got a screen that looked like the "Do you want to quit the game?" screen but was all in chinese and whichever option I chose it just went back to the game. I switched it off and took the disk out, switched it back on and got the screen from the mph downgrader with all the different languages telling you the files are corrupt and to press circle to fix them. I did so and the PSP loaded fine. I don't know what caused it because I had v2.5 and had never used any homebrew. I'd been browsing the web for quite a while a few hours before it happened, maybe that had something to do with it.
