im guesing you guys have no clue on what md5 checksums are ...

md5 is a means to ensure that the file has not been alterd in anyway , it's a formula that adds stuff together to give you a hash key, you cant change the md5, u can however change the file resulting in a different ,md5

and no the psp does not rely on md5 to run the eboot ... it uses a aes / des key
