Points: 12.00 Donate | | | Its a form of software, but its the programming encoded into the chip. All electrical products have firmware, even tvs etc. Cos they all need SOME form of thing to execute and control them. But the main difference is that this isnt sofware you can just edit or delete. The only way to change it is toaccess the files on the flash, which we cant just do straight up cos we'd need Sony's encryption key. Hence why we need exploits >_<

Like does the motherboard with the chips etc on start at 1.0 then they all get upgraded?

God i wish i knew stuff about hacking and programing, id love to try and help with a downgrader.
I think websites should host a competition, non of this, first flash player or some shit competitions, but FIRST 2.01+ to 1.5 downgrader,
The hacker gets some nice goodies etc. We need some incentive! |
