hey i have observed information from various sources that fw ver 3.0 does not exist. instead, 2.61 is now in distribution.

It contains information that the $199 psp pack ships with 2.61.
also, there is another thread that shows pictures, and says that it contains a flash player, OGG support, and security patches. also, eloader is blocked.

SO: EXPECTED 2.61 FEATURES:
-OGG support
-eloader block
-new system calls, so eloader will be harder to develop
-flash player
-updated flash (blocking all currently possible exploits, probably even the font one)
this is good evidence that 2.61 is coming along, instead of 3.0, and that all those supposed screenshots are fake.
however, it is my belief that 3.0 will be released soon, like 2.50 was released only days after 2.01.
ANY COMMENTS, OPINIONS, OR FEATURES FOR ME TO LIST? POST!
