Hi folks,

I have just got hols of a UK psp 103 "c" which is FW 1.52. When i go to upgrade to 2.0 so i can then get back to 1.5 i have a problem. I have tried with two differant demo disks each with the 2.0 upgrade and neither work. The umd shows the update and when you try to run it the next screen has NO writing on it and only the X and O buttons at the bottom, you can also move to the right but i cannot remember what buttons to press in what order without screen prompt. I know the dish is A1 as i have used to upgrade then downgrade previously on another PSP.

Any ideas ????

restore default settings then run the update.

Download the 2.0 update from anywhere and tell us if it works.

thanks for hint "mattmanslim", i did a system restore of defaults and the menu appeared.

Have now done the 1.52 > 2.0 > 1.5 On my second PSP now and for the second time prior to moving from 1.52 i could watch the uk demo disk s-man trailer as well as the music videos. Now that i have done the up and down then stx to 2.01 i cannot ??

The first one i did it on was a HK version 1006 so i thought it was simply the UMD region 1 thing for movies kicking in but this is a version 1003 and boxed as region 2.

Any ideas what has gone wrong now ?

PS the logo is a bit naff but couldn't be bothered thinking and it was first file i came to !
