| | Member | | | | | too bad that dev kit ( i guess game developers get a PSP emulator they can use for development ) was not leaked. Id imagine that would be good to see the inner workings of a psp.

| | | | Wow, you guys are ridiculous
First of all, to say you want the code or that you want to learn how to code isn't, how should I say this, the most widely used way of saying what you mean. When you "want to learn how to code" you want to learn a programming language. When you want Sony to give you a "code" you want Sony to give you the encryption key or algorithm.
I highly doubt that any of you guys here know a thing about programming, so this thread should be locked since nothing will be accomplished.
And the thing about the Sony employee is uterly retarted. If someone where in a high enough position to obtain such knowledge, I doubt they would risk it all for some modding/homebrew scene.
You see, there are two types of encryption algorithm , public and private. The private algorithm is what Sony uses to sign their UMD's and updates, the public encryption algorithm is what our PSP's firmwares use to determine which code to run and which code to not run. What we need to do is focus on something a little more in reach, though not much more. We need to find the algorithm the CPU uses in order to check which PBP files are legit and which are homebrew. If we could find this, the PSP would not be able to tell the difference between Sony's PBPs and homebrew PBPs
But, I'd say your chances of finding a Sony tooth fairy are better...
AND BTW, the SDK wouldnt help you. Software developers have to halfs, SDK tools for their PC and a SDK PSP, which allows homebrewed code to run.
So even if we did have the SDK, we would be right were we are now... |

1- A good hacker to crack the code (not like me, i mean a REALLY good one)
2- To get somone here to work for sony so they can "accidently" leak the code
AND I CAN CODE JUST NOT C++ SO DONT SAY THAT PERSON A COUPLE POSTS ABOVE ME!!! | |
