I clicked ctrl + F and looked for all the 1.50 in the whole eboot. I switched them all to2.60 and ran the eboot on my psp. The updater said update to version 2.60 but when i clicked on it it said there was no need to update. I think this means that we need the key to sonys encription to actually access the code part of the eboot and change it. I pressed CTRL + F again and tried to fidn 1.0. I fould 1.00 and changed it too 2.50. That 1.00 was in the code of the eboot. The moment i ran the file on my psp it said the file was corrupted. Any ideas?
I have made a conclution though.
If you remember the guys that modified the 2.60 eboot and made it say 1.50. All they did was change the file name from 2.60 to 1.50. Even if the file did work you would not be updateing to 1.50...you would be updating to 2.60 and you wouldnt know it untill it was too late. We need a way to modify the code and crack the incription. I think thats the only way... |

| | | | We don't need a million posts saying we need to crack the encryption. At least you posted something you tried, though I am not sure why you would think it would work.
There is already many people working on lots of ideas. If some of you put as much effort into learning about coding and reverse engineering as you did just posting pointless answers on forums, you'd be a lot better off.
Do you actually know how painful it is to open all the threads with new posts and just quickly scroll the whole page and see... "lol, haha" and " wow, cant wait" and crap like "man, jus storm da place an get da uzi and da get sony"
c'mon, this whole forum is just filled with pointless garbage... why not try and make the content a bit more intelligent.
the pointless posting that goes on here belongs in IRC.
Im saying this to try and make the PSP discussions better, not cause shit.
hoping for a change in the right direction,
