A hex-edit might work... but the problem is the PSP probably runs a check-sum on the eboot file + it has to have a digital signature, so that idea is pretty far off.

Wow I thought this was a idea that made no sense whatsoever at first but then I went and downloaded the magic "Hex editor" and behold it has a button on it that turned my PSP into a PS3!!! OMG!! ITS MAGIC!!

somebody with common sense wouldn't post such nonsense, hence this person will definitively not be the one to crack this.
there are two methods: a nand writer and changing the eboot. to change the eboot you would have to dissasemble or to know where to look, numbers won't do it, there are size checks. also there is probably a crc check, so if something is changed, the eboot will self-test and abort.

most of the exploits were done with a hex editor and still y not give it a shot i think we should try everyones idea
