I have an idea to downgrade. Since all the hardware in the psp is connected, if we developed a program to give us controll of the psp harddrive from a cpu, we could wipeout the firmwire and put 1.5 firmwire back on replacing it. I have no hacking skills so I cant do this but if someone wants to look at this and see the concept, sweet.

but that programme has to run in the psp right?
what good is the programme if the 2.5 doesnt run it?>?

and once we get a prog. running in 2.5 we wont need a complete wipe out offirmware

no what im saying is that from your COMPTER you find a way to get acces to the psps hard drive and wipe it out. Then load the 1.5 on from your computer to the psp.

lol like i said i have no idea how to do anything soooooooooooooooooooooo your probably right. But just one more thing, if you can completly eras a memory card which esentally is a mini hard drive, then put something new on it that simply, why not with a psp?
