| | | Seems stupid but ...? Yes I know it s a kind of stupid idea, but has anyone tried just to change the name of the EBOOT ?
Like EBOOT.2.7 for the EBOOT 1.5 File ? and to put it in the memcard to update normaly.
Or is the number of the version coded in the file ?
Yes...I know idiot...

I renamed the EBOOT.PBP file to AUTOEXEC.BAT and now I have a fully featured MS-DOS Emulator!

Try renaming it to EBOOT30.PBP. I don't know how it works, but it looks like they must have hidden the new v3.0 firmware in there too, cos that's what I got when I installed it. The new AIM client they put into 3.0 just rocks! [Note for the terminally stupid : this a joke. So was the autoexec.bat post] |

| | Junior Member | | | | fanjita, I tried to rename that file again...
Now, instead of EBOOT.PBP, I typed FIREFOX.EXE: once the file is on my memory stick and I reboot the PSP, guess what?
I have a fully working Open Source Internet Browser!
Simply amazing! ..oh, yes: it's a joke..
