fow what? flash? its not worth it... IF i'll update its when 3.0 comes out... nd that's IF... but i dream everynight of being able to play Chrono Trigger (PSX Version), CHrono Cross, and FF7 on my sweet inocent PSP...

No it wont, the updates simply erase everything and rewrite the flash, so it will error at the end, but won't "corrupt" the flash0.

heck i have a usa psp and ive always used japan eboots. it never messed up my psp

Guys, this is simply not going to work. The version of Flash Sony used is guaranteed to have this hole fixed. Not to mention that it's not a standard build of Flash - they had to remove parts of it. So as much as I'd love to let a speculation thread about a firmware that isn't even out yet explode into another 44-page-long crapfest... Yeah. No.
