Yes ppl have tried and it did not work and fanjita has sead even if you edited
the PARAM.sfo i whould not work

its one of those things, sony are tempting people to upgrade to 2.7, if they made it easy to play on other fw there is no point in stopping homebrew

yeah true they should just alow hb but make it so that playing iso's arn't able to work

Locoroco isn't a typical elf executable, its AES signed, much like the .psp file in update eboot packages.

As it shares that similarity with the update, it shares another: MD5 checksums, which detect if the eboot has been altered in any way.

I've heard people asking if Locoroco used kernel mode, the answer is no, even though it is Sony's its still run in game mode, and game mode is limited to user space.
