Sorry if this has been asked before but I have been away from the psp hacking scene for a lot of time and have lost some chapters...

Does anyone have the patience to explain me exactly what software do I need to play 2.00+ ISOs on 1.5 and a short description on how to do it? Do I need to have the decrypted 2.00+ firmware?

Or just give me the links to the appropriate sites or threads?

P.S.: I know how to use the search button but 9 out of 10 threads are about "wanted 2.01+ to 1.5 downgrader" and the remaining ones didin't help a lot...

I think you need MPH Gameloader. It works on some games that require 2.0+

That's for UMDs. I think you can use RunUMD to patch the ISOs somehow though.

UMDemulator works and so does the newest DAXZiso,
I personally like DAX ZISO because it works in conjunction with runUMD, UMD emulator and a host of other loaders. If one setting doesn't work, just try another, it'll most likely load unless its like the Sims 2 [having an encrypted game files

You have to decrypt certain PRX's, Yoshiro published something about it long before MPH stole the concept and used it for his game loader, yes MPH did code the game loader, but he did not give Yoshiro shit for credit, go to sonyxteam.com...a little ways down there should be a long post of assholes in the psp community, the method is in there under mph's name.

See, you need to understand something here about programming. Anyone can come up with an idea, but it takes a programmer to make it possible. Yoshihiro wasn't good enough to make the idea a reality; MPH was. Rather than whine about how MPH "stole" his idea, Yoshi should be thanking him for making it a reality. Seriously.
