| | Member | | | | | [Thought] Any Chance of a Dual Boot PSP ? i recently got a 1.5 PSP, yesterday infact from a local store boxed and brand new
I've been enjoying the homebrew scene but i was wondering if any attempts have been made to create some sort of dual boot system, one for the current 1.5 firmware and then one for the 2.X firmware.
i think it would be possible, since our psp's can run homebrew, i wouldnt have a clue how to do it, but since we can run homebrew through the 1.5fw, maybe a newer eboot can be launched through that ?
Thanks.

it's possible, but there would have to be a bootloader installed,
and perfect firmware emulation is far from complete for now,
so you'd have to be patient. |

| My english is not the best maybe someone can translate this !?

It would be conceivable, which one packs the 1.5er Homebrew on extra a chip and then which firmware one decides bootet. Also one knows its PSP with shot firmware then evt. again boats and if necessary. Repair. The possibilities, if it becomes mass suited, are enormous. Who knows, perhaps the individual groups bring now a condition alone raus which 100%ige control of the PSP to OS made possible.
