Points: 16.08 Donate | | Daedalus PSP N64 Emulator R4 on firmware 2.01? ok I have the uo_Snes9x_002y32 and I use the gta thing to boot my homebrew roms. I have four roms that I load using this to load them with. I was woundering can I load the Daedalus PSP N64 Emulator R4 using this stuff on my psp firmware 2.01?

Points: 1.58 Donate | | Yeh, you can run and play the Daedalus emulator on 2.01, but its kinda pointless because its really slow, and by the time you have managed to get the roms working and running, it crashes  The newest eloader is advised, but it wont make any difference to the speed that the roms run at |

Points: 16.08 Donate | | | I have aquestion, I put the Daedalus PSP N64 Emulator in th epsp/game folder and then I boot the eloader097 thing and it dosen't have any n64 games on there to play. My question is do i have to find n64 roms to play them using this Daedalus PSP N64 Emulator?
One more thing, so an emulator is a thing that lets you play games from a certain system? And roms are the games that the emulator plays, correct?

Points: 13.46 Donate | | aight bro here we go... eloader is the program you are using to run the emulators because firmwares 2.0 and above have security measures in place to try to stop people from running unsigned code (emulators and other such homebrew). emulators are named thusly because they do just that: emulate another system. within these emulators you place roms. ROM is an acronym for Read Only Memory, because its memory that you cannot change in any way, its designed only to be read. In this case to answer your question yes, the rom is the game. In response to your other question, yes you also have to download the roms yourself, as they dont come packaged with the emulator.
