Ok I don't know if anyone else has tried this but I did the following -->

Got the 2.00 Eboot.pbp and used PBP Unpacker to extract the DATA.PSAR.

Now I downloaded the 2.70 Eboot and extracted the 3 files namely PARAM.SFO, DATA.PSP, ICON0.PNG.

Now I used the PSP Unpacker to create a Eboot.PBP with the 2.70's files except the DATA.PSAR.I used the 2.00's DATA.PSAR.

Now I launched this from the PSP.The PSP Logo comes then the screen goes blank.The the memory sticks LED blinks then I get this error ::

After I press X the following screen appears for 1sec

After this as usual the PSP restarts.

Now I don't know whether this is useful or not.But I just wanted to share this.
Now I think that this error is due to the filesize of DATA.PSAR being different.If we can somehow change this size to match the 2.70's size then maybe it'll work.This is just an assumption.

Also a similar thing was tried before but with a different error -->

This has benn tried MILLIONS of times before. And we also need sonys encryption key

yea thats wonderful and all but i don't care about no stinkin downgrader no more because my 1.5 was shipped monday and should be here today or thursday. Hopefully today =)

Wow, dont post if your just gonna say (for the millionth time) your getting your psp/you dont care/ or dont know

This will never work becuase once and eboot it edited, you need to reencrypt it with Sonys Key....

I must admit, when I had first seen an EBOOT that managed to get that far, I was shocked.

Then I was told that a fake key string was inputted using a hex editor. It won't go anywhere.

i think having both, and wating for downgraders/exploits is half the fun
