Exclamation PSP Application in VB?

i was thinking, about something somebody said to me a lil while go on here that i would not be able to code a project in VB and use it on the PSP! Well, i got thinking and found a couple of sites and a program that will convert a VB program to C. So in theory if i coded in VB, used the program to convert to C, then compiled it i could run it on the PSP? has anybody got any thoughts on this? Replies would be gratefull

You should just code it in C++. Converting it will probably make it very inefficient, and you would still need to know C++ to convert some things to the psp libraries.

What can C++ be used for with the psp?

I'm taking 2 weeks worth of courses on it in the summer. What will I be able to do with the knowledge when I'm done?

I don't know anything about it yet.

i googled for it. search for a vb to c convertor and you will find a free trial download, and a website that allows you to enter VB script and it wil output C script. I was just seeing if it would be a decent possibility as i kno VB is an easy code to learn, C is quite hardcore but i have got to try and learn it. thanks for the replies neway. BTW anybody who knows VB or is a beginner in LUA wanna join me in creating something? dont know what yet but would like to try and get a team up and running

I love VB. I am so good at it. That would be awesome if you could program in VB for PSP but sadly you cant.

You won't be able to use apps you code in VB then convert to C using that converter since for the app to work on a PSP you need to use special functions, like pspDebugScreenPrintf = printf etc.

OK thankyou Homer and Frog_Racer. I didnt wanna get my hopes up too high lol, just its such an easy language to use, little more advanced than Lua i feel, and would be perfect to code with as its easy for beginners to pick up and create whatever they want. This thread can be closed now, i have found out all i need. Thankyou

I'm really good at vb and this would be awesome if i could just convert it straight to pure C/C++ because i find C/C++ harder than VB.
