Maybe...but there are many differences between a master system and ps2 pad, already the number of buttons .
But it can be a good idea, only to don't get cramps with the wrist after 15 minutes of play...

Yes! I've saw some site with a thingy you could attach to your PSP and makes it feel like a PS2-gamepad. Dont know where tho. google is your friend!
