Points: 12.20 Donate | | | Another..... I was playing with my 2.5 psp. What I found out was that when you choose your own background for the menu and click ok it saves it. But I found out that it dosen't save to the memory stick because I shut it down completely then took out the stick and then started it back up and behold, my background is still thier. So where did this save to and can we get an exploit from this?? |

Points: 491.73 Donate | | Simple Things everyone knows..  , When you save a background it saves it to flash 1. We already have Flash 1 access on 2.01-2.60, If we want any chance of Downgrading we would need Flash 0 and Kernal Mode. So there ya have it. NO EXPLOIT..  |

Points: 9,999,500,270.61 Donate | | | When you save your background, the PSP takes a snapshot of whatever is on your screen (part of the image, the whole image with a black border, etc.) to a 24-bit BMP file in flash1:/vsh/theme/wallpaper.bmp . So unless we have a bitmap-based exploit (which is a pretty unlikely idea), it won't help.
