my psp firmware is 2.5 and when i put this game into my psp the game icon loaded(the button you click on to load the game) but under that was the update to version 2.6 now heres my problem the gam loaded fine  but i thought it would require 2.6 if it came with that update |

The Football manager handheld doesnt require the 2.6 firmware...
UMD came just with newest FW.
I think you got the idea.
