Do I need to upgrade my PSP to 2.6 or 2.7 to play the newest games like the Platinum collection? I currently have 2.5 and I don't want to upgrade my PSP to be able to play these games.

But im unsure if the games in the 'platinum collection' require those higher firmware versions.

If it don't work on 2.5, then try 2.6, and if they don't work on 2.7, then perhaps you should think about 2.7 . |

most dont even require updates i think
(theyve been out since the PSP's launch i think)
