Will it cause piracy to destroy the PSP software industry or improve it?

But i think they should stick with the plan they're going with being able to reflash the part that has the firmware.

| | | | since the videogame industry manages more numbers than music and movies together (benefits of a game>>>>>>benefits of a movie or an album) I don't think it'll bring the videogame industry into a chaos.
Just look at the PC games, copied and re-copied, and still they are released! I'm very sick of this piracy-criminality thing. Personally I've been copying movies music and games since i had a commodore, a VCR and a cassete recorder, and nothing happened then... nothing like the old times! |

| | | | UMD has been a huge mistake, from my point of view, that sony has made. I'm not here to discuss what should have been the perfect media storage for the psp, but the fact that an UMD is as expensive as a normal DVD is a clear disavantage. if only sony should have thought in an USB-to-RGB solution, let's put it in, around 50 bucks, to use the psp as a portable movie player, and for those who'd love to play their games in the TV when possible, maybe the UMD would have had a chance.
I still remember the minidisk, very good quality, but so "posh" to record onto, until the .net support appeared, too late since the mp3 players were all over the place...
Sometimes, trying to set up a standard to be used in their advantage sony only reaches dead ends... will it happen as well with the blu-ray? |

I will still get one I am willing to risk it hopefully that issue will not arise. |

| | | | You have to realize that the majority of PSP owners arent as into the homebrew aspect as you guys are, to the average everday psp owner, this isnt really news since homebrew is kinda boring anyway.
