yeah, u gotta open + soulder, i wouldnt be recomending it to anyone who doesnt have a lot of soldering experience etc

it comes with some impact proof tape etc to make sure its secure in there

aslong as its installed right, you should be ok

it fits inside the psp itself

it also has a USB connection so u can connect to to urpsp and flash the flash with whatever firmware version u choose
