Can i downgrade 2.5? (If so can sum 1 tell me how?)

Hi im new to the psp and when i bought it it was a version 2.01 but then when i bought a game it made me upgrade to 2.50 to play it so i upgraded thinking it was the right thing to do.But after a few weeks learning things about the psp i learnt that to play games direct off the memory stick i would need to download. But as im new to all this i havent a clue wot 2 do so if sum 1 can explain to me and maybe send me links on where 2 do this plz.
Or email me the details to king_woody@msn.com.Thanks

Why can't you guys just leave him alone.

You can't play downloaded PSP games from the net on your PSP, but you can get homebrew games other people have made, but you will need to buy a copy of GTA:LCS first. Then you must install the eLoader.

Wow, you guys are just beating on him.

Well, there is no way to downgrade a PSP with firmware 2.01 or higher. But luckily, 2.01, 2.50 (), and 2.60 users can still play homebrew through the popular GTA Exploit.

In case you haven't heard about it just yet, it was an exploit which was first discovered by EdisonCarter, which he used to make the CheatDevice for Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. Soon enough, everyone began to build off of this exploit to get where we are today. A limited, but still large amount of homebrew can be played through this exploit.

That's it.

All psp's whit version 2.60 and below, can play homebrew (games on memorystick) a psp whit 2.01, 2.50 or 2.60, will require GTA:LCS to run.
The only firmware that can be downgraded is the 2.00. You can not downgrade a 2.01 or above. that means that you can not downgrade your 2.50, but you can still play homebrew if you have GTA:LCS.
