homebrew not so popular

sorry if i sound stupid but how come many popular gaming sites dont really talk about psp homebrew. i just watched a gamespot video about the psp, what they liked about it, and what they want in the future, and not once was homebrew or anything of that sort mentioned. homebrew is practically my favorite part of the psp. is it illegal or whats up?

It's probably because gamespot etc don't want to get into hacking etc.

No, luckily for us, homebrew is not illegal EXCEPT if you play such roms/ISOs which you don't have in real life.

Maybe IGN are unaware of homebrew. We now know PSM (Playstation Magazine) are aware of homebrew mainly the GTA cheat device.

Found this interesting link on QJ regarding PSM which they are talking about EdisonCarter's GTA cheatdevice and the "Pimp My garage" which was made by adePSP. If anyone wants to have a look you can go to the link here

I saw that before, and I found it quite interesting that PlayStation Magazine are now siding with homebrew. They even said not to update to 2.7, maybe soon they'll be talking about SMM, some other great hombrew or maybe even the eLoader.

Let's just hope they will do that, maybe even make a new section about homebrew with reviews and download links. I doubt it but it may happen. They will most likely say to enjoy all this great stuff remain at 2.6 and if you like flash go to 2.71.
