Hello there, im a psp user (ofcourse) and recently being interested in the psp homebrew community, im a daily visitor to these forums, only posting when needed. I'am making this post to find out some answers to some questions ive been having, and Yes! i have searched the forums and still i would like a fresh answer to my questions, i know some people on these forums have a very good knowledge on the whole psp expliotation/hacking Genre, and that is why i want some real understanding and would like to help out thanks.blake.

Questions are;

1) With the 2.7 Game demo eboot for Locoroco, ive noticed that there is a .SHO File, what file isthis? from my understanding its like a .CUE file it tells the system various information about the game etc? a'm i correct?.

2) again, the .PSP is the datafile containing all the information for the game, using prx decrypter, i had one look into the file and didnt understand one thing? what is this?

3) i hear there is encrption on eboots for 2.7, why cant we just replace the files in the eboots from sony and packthem backup and run??

4) ive extracted many eboots 2 from sony and a few homebrew all have very different formats why is this? eg, .PSP compared to luamines .AT3.

5) playing around with eboots ive noticed i can change the background picture and icon of locoroco to another picture from the Kazuko eboot, and swap the .psp files around, so the Locoroco eboot would boot with Kazuko and so fourth, is this just plain simple would to no where? am i right?

6) last but not least, expliotations could be derrived from the formats the psp can read and so fourth could we use our knowledge from current expliotes from the code such as the expliotation of the .GIF format yes?
