Well i do intend to look at a Diffgram of 2 LocoRoco eboots if i can get hold of em. I while back some1 posted that ther was a magazine with the UMD disc holding LocoRoco on it. This version of LocoRoco apparently would quite nicely run on a 2.6 PSP. If I could get a dump of that copy and the copy that requires 2.7 a DiffGram will show up the differences in the file. However without the 2.6 runnable eboot im a bit stuck! People do seem to be making some progress with a few things i notice with these demos. It seems its quite possible to run 2.71 demos on 2.7 by hexing the eboot and changing the min fw spec. Now unfortunately u cant change them to 2.6 and play it on a 2.6... So... Either Sony added some functionallity into the 2.7 firmware that allows these demos to run! (I dont think this is the case) Or they have modified a seperate part of the eboot that stops it running on 2.6. A diffgram should show up the differences!

Well thats the thing I cant perform a DiffGram without having the 2.6 bootable eboot from the magazine version. (If it exists anywhere!?!?) The diffgram will highlight bit differences between the 2 eboots allowing me to see any difference in the 2 files. But thers nothing to Diff against at the mo as I only have the one file! I don't know what it would highlight but i think it wud be worth it.

As I've said many, many times, you cannot edit an EBOOT to make it run. The files are encrytped. Closed.
