Points: 16.24 Donate | | | I have an idea why 2.71 was released This maybe a stupid idea but it could work. Maybe sony found that if the data.psp from loco roco was replaced with one that is exaclty the same size it could be ran through the xmb. Maybe the loco-roco demo uses a file size check to make sure that the file is the correct one. So what I was wondering is if somebody knew how to trick a file into thinking it is larger than it actually is (in this case a homebrew data.psp) and then insert it into the loco-roco demo. Don't flame me just can you answer the question which is can you trick a file to think it is larger with any software? Or add dummy files into code and then compile it?
Don't worry I have realised why that is a stupid idea.
If anything comes out of this remeber it was me who done it (if anything does happen) and not Killz13 or someone like that.

Oh yeah if this works then you should be presented with snes tyl 0.4 ME.

Right now I am increasing the data.psp from snes tyl 0.4 ME, and then when that is finished I will put it into an eboot with the loco-roco param.sfo and icon0.png and then upload it. If that doesn't work then what will be done is somebody with 2 mem sticks will put loco-roco on one and this other one on the other then swap them. Everything inside the eboot will be exactly the same size on each eboot. Because people have had two mem sticks with loco roco on each one and swapped and it loaded and I was wondering if the size could be a reason. Like I said this is just an idea and if it doesn't work it won't hurt anybody. |
