| | | | he means that it is encrypted and that there are many 'keys' in certain spots in the eboot. the psp checks a random spot in the eboot and checks if the correct key is in that spot and if it is not, it will not run, but if it is, it will. if you only have one key, it might take a long time before the program checks the spot that the key you have is in. |

06-14-2006, 11:49 AM
| | | | yes, but since it is very high encryption, if you were to bruteforce on one computer 3ghz dual core overclocked to 5ghz dual core cooled w/ liquid nitro, 4gb ram it would probably take about 5+ years, on the other hand, it could take 30 seconds. if you were to steal a cia supercomputer or get somone you know thats in the cia to use a computer to bruteforce it would probably take a few days, but yea, most people here done have a supercomputer |

Points: 0.52 Donate | | lol, i think monkeyboy1916 is ryt, it prolly wont happen. But on the other hand it isnt hard to create a program to do so. FlamingWolf is also ryt that it could take just 30 seconds, and you could get it to work on the psp in one or two goes. But v. unlikey.
But what would make me laugh is if someone made a program and got one of the keys early. rofl . They will be like "pwned!!!!" to all who didnt believe it would work.
Yeh umm, prolly wont happen |

| | Junior Member | | | | Since the program SETI@Home could work all the data from all the sound sensors they have with the screensaver that was around the net like 2 years ago, i think a lil encryption key is not a problem Even if it's not that little. | |
