PSP 1.5 Homebrewn features - Here comes the Newbie!

Hello guys, it's me, the Brazilian newbie once again, in my quest to discover the full potential of my 1.5 that is coming soon to these anxious hands.

This time, I'd like to ask what could be possibly done in a 1.5 firmware psp, in terms of hacking/using homebrews/emus/running retail games. I mean, can I edit things such as the background image, the text, well, anything?

I tried to look for info on this in the QJ site, but I was a bit lost into it, so I'm sorry if I bother you now to help me with some information.

The more, the merrier! And thanks once again.

You can edit the fonts and backgrounds, but only with Flash Mod or another program i can't remember the name of.

You can run retail UMD's with firmware requirements up to 2.50 with DevHook, and up to 1.50 with your PSP on its own.

You can run homebrew straight from the GUI, and there are some very nice emullators available. My favorites are;

Snes9xTYL 0.4 (SNES)
NesterJ 1.20 alpha (NES)
Basilisk II (for Mac v7.5-v8.0, but you need a Mac.rom or Quadra.rom)
DGEN v1.60 (Genesis)
Homer's RIN v3.3/ GeMP v3.3 (GB/GBC)
