Region Codes With DevHook??

Im trying to get DevHook to run my iso backups but Ive tried 3 iso's so far n get the same error with all of them, "The game could not be started, The Region Code is not correct"

Is the region code of the iso an issue? The 3 iso's ive tried are GTA, Fifa Street 2 and Lemmings and Im using DevHook 0.41d

Any ideas? Ive been on forums and tutorials for the last hour but i still keep getting the same error

Any ideas??

All of those work on my EUR (region 2) psp and yours should be a EUR psp so I don't know what the problem is. If you don't have a EUR psp what region is it?

I have a JAP ver 1.5, so it is also region 2, after all of my reading it appears that it should be just as easy as loading up DevHook choosing your iso and rebooting into the 2.5 xmb, but its just not happening. The firmwares have been installed fine aswell using DevHook's fw installer

i guess ill just have to keep reading n trying, theres obviously something im doing wrong

sorry for the double post, but Flamingwolf just twigged something with me.... Im just thinking, would the fact that Im using a movie UMD have anything to do with it?? I have a Robots UMD in the drive, which plays fine in my normal 1.5 fw, but from what i can see thats the only thing that could be giving a region code error

I had the same problem as you. You have a movie in your UMD drive right? The movies are regioncode protected (or whatever you english people are calling it). Swap the movie UMD for you demo disc that you got when yoo bought your PSP. It will work 100%

He isn't English he lives in Dublin so that makes him Irish (unless his parents are English or any other nationality). And he said he was testing three ISO's as can be seen here:

So no it is not a problem with a UMD movie. I might aswell have put the whole quote in bold because it only refers to ISO games.
