And as for me new shell should give user a chance to customize it. Like change icons skins, wallpapers, cursors, maybe sounds with just replacing gif, png (or whatever) files with usermade ones.

Xvid is a video encoder that allows people to create videos of good quality, but a small size. It's a free alternative to DivX.
Xvid support would allow you to simply drag-n-drop your favorite vids into your PSP with no need for reencoding.

As for ISO loading...I don't support PSP piracy. That's the reason why Sony keeps preventing us from playing homebrew and ruining it for us all. But all those other features would be nice...
