When you download an eboot such as 2.0 and open it with notepad it comes up with a bunch of jibberish but if you look up at the top it says psp 2.00 if you changed the 2.00 to 2.61 and tried to update a 2.60 psp it might think its updating to a higher firmware. I would test this out on my psp but I bricked it with the virgin psp thing. |

*sigh*...if it was this easy, don't you think we would've had 2.XX homebrew long ago? |

Points: 0.91 Donate | | | Thats besides the point, the security still prevents homebrew. 2.6 is the label, not the acctual...upgrade. So instead of having problems with Homebrew on 2.6, we would jusy have problems getting homebrew on "2.61". |
