hello, i got my broken 1.5 back today, still broken, the shop said it was a problem with my motherboard and as i refused to loose 1.5 they couldnt fix it, it still wont read any umd's so im looking for info on no umd iso loading, i know devhook does this and i think theres another one called devhook evoloved, but which iso's do and which iso's (or ciso's) dont work, if you know of any could you please post,

MY PSP IS BROKE AND WONT LOAD UMD'S SO I HAVE TO USE ISO'S, SO PLEASE DONT MOAN THAT IM ASKING ABOUT ISO'S

Try updating to 2.0 then downgrading again, sometimes that fixes problems. My 1.5 has started playing up it won't exit from a umd only ISO's so I might upgarde then downgrade even though I only launch games through devhook now anyway.

i think its a problem with the hardware... not the firm/software

Well it is presumed to be a hardware problem so just try upgrading and then downgrading to see if that fixes the probelm, I have heard of people upgrading then downgrading again and that fixed thir wi-fi probelm and I think I saw someone who fixed their disk reading problem. If you have used a flash editing program on your 1.5 then that can cause problems, ever since I changed the gameboot I can't exit from UMD's but I am not bothered about that.

Uhmm why dont you just let them fix it. They found a exploit in 2.5 and .6 anyway. The worst thing that can happen to you can get a 2.71 LOL.
