I was using dev hook 0.41d to run v2.5 on my v1.5 downdated psp and it worked, i attempted to use the USB mode whilst on v2.5 on dev hook, but it didnt work , I rebooted to v1.5 and now windows doesnt see my psp?

I tried different usb ports and still no work, I tried a differnent PC and it worked, but it still dont work on my PC

and i reformatted my mem stick.

Is this a common error, is it cos i downgraded and was using dev hook and iso's? (thinking of somesort of protection thing from sony)

Does anyone know how i can solve this, without reinstalling windows(which should fix it ryt?)

ok heres the thing restart your cpu and on the first startup screen press F10
go to USB devices and click enable thats how I got mine Working Hope ths helps

DevHook or any ISO loaders won't fuck around with anything on your psp. X-Flash, FlashMod, PSPSet and ThemePSP will all fuck up your psp and anything that access's the flash if done wrong but anything else won't.

the 2.6 downgrade leaves your psp with the 2.5/6 flash0 files that aren't in the 1.5 firmware, i had same problem with umd drive after upgrading to 2.00 and mph downgrading, not had a single problem and all the extra files are gone.

You can delete all the files from the downdater after downdating,
so this shouldn't be a problem.
