I feel like a bit of a noob for asking this question, since I was so happy with my 2.6 using the GTA/eLoader, playing any of my 14 original UMD games!

Can anybody help me actually play them using the 1.5?

Since you have a 2.6 and a 1.5 i would recomend using the 1.5 fpr hb and iso loading, the 2.6 for umd. Easiest way?

SOrry, need to edit my sig as I sold the 1.5 (well swapped for 5 games plus £200!) who's laughing now? Hence my question ...

DevHook can load all umds that require anything up to 2.5, and some early 2.6 games work. Just wait a few days I am sure with this new hack someone will make a tool to decrypt 2.71 and then you can play every released game.

Thanks Chris - Just followed your Devhook post, but my PSP keeps switching off - Any ideas?

When I go to Devhook on the Game->Memory stick on the PSP, I've saved all the settings as per your post, and when I go to start game it looks like it's loading then switches my PSP off?

Some mem-sticks randomly don't work with devhook (maybe fake) and the Datel HDD doesn't work either.
